NORTH CREEK – The Mayfield girls Nordic ski team of Emily Cromie, Maggie Lambo and Molly Lambo turned in a combined time of 33:29.0 to finish third in the girls varsity race at the Scotia-Glenville Relays held at North Creek Ski Bowl on Friday.
Johnstown’s team of Emma Fiore, Molly Sear and Lauryn Wilson finished 14th in the girls varsity division with their combined time of 49:11.0.
On the boys side, Mayfield’s team of Josh Febbie, tyler Newkirk and Devante Marshall finished fifth with a combined time of 28:30.0, while the Panthers’ second team of Ryan MacFarland, Nate VanHorn and Jackson Dunn placed seventh with their time of 31:03.0.
The Johnstown Sir Bills team of Mark Cwiakala, Will Dickson and Zach Ropeter finished 17th overall with a time of 47:14.3.
Queensbury’s Eliza Blood, Alexis Bartlett and Maggie Borgos turned in a time of 31:30.7 to win the girls varsity race, while Shenendehowa’s Aaron Huneck, Adam Chrzan and Owen Putman teamed up to win the boys varsity event with a combined time of 25:05.4
