WATERVLIET -The Fonda-Fultonville girls finished fourth Friday at the Cannoneer Invitational at Watervliet High School.
Maple Hill won the team title with 80.25 points, while the Lady Braves finished fourth with 50 points. Gloversville (42.25) was sixth, Broadalbin-Perth (15.75) was 13th, Canajoharie was 14th with 9 points, Galway was 15th with 3 points and Fort Plain was 16th with 1 point.
In the 100 hurdles, Fonda-Fultonville’s Emma Rhodes (16.55 seconds) was third, Gloversville’s Madison Fancher (17.25) was fourth, Fonda-Fultonville’s Alyssa Heacock (17.47) was fifth and Joanna Tavolaro (17.93).
Fancher won the 400 hurdles with a time of 1:09.14, while Galway’s Leah Vanderhorst (1:17.0) was fifth and Canajoharie’s Sydney Weingart (1:18.28) was sixth.
Fancher also won the high jump with a leap of 5-3, while Heacock (4-9) was fifth. B-P’s Madison McFarland (4-6) was sixth.
Fancher posted her third win of the day in the triple jump with a leap of 34-8 1/2. Heacock (34-3) was second and Fonda-Fultonville’s Brittany Castelluccio (34-1) was third.
Tavolaro was first in the pole vault for B-P with a height of 8-6. Fonda-Fultonville’s Ryleigh Hesch and Heacock tied for third at 7-6, while Broadalbin-Perth’s Lexi Eipp (7-6) was sixth.
Rhodes was third in the long jump for FFCS with a leap of 15-11 1/2, while Gloversville’s Brianna Port (15-10 1/2) was fourth.
Fonda-Fultonville’s Jamie Kasza was fifth in the 800 meters with a time of 2:35.69.
Kasza also was sixth in the 1,500 meters with a time of 5:13.24.
Fort Plain’s Love Nemecek was sixth in the discus with a throw of 81-7, while Hailie LaPratt was sixth in 3,000 meters with a time of 12:03.16.
Gloversville was fourth in the 400 relay with a time of 55.23 seconds, while Galway (56.17) was sixth.
In the 1,600 relay, Fonda-Fultonville (4:29.26) was fifth and Broadalbin-Perth (4:30.15) was sixth.
FFCS (1:037.85) was third in the 3,200 relay and Broadalbin-Perth (10:58.68) was fifth.
In the boys meet, Canajoharie was seventh with 32 points, while Fonda-Fultonville was 10th with 21 points.
Schenectady was first with 115 points.
Gloversville and Broadalbin-Perth tied for 12th with 18 points, Galway was 18th with 4 points and Fort Plain was 19th with 2 points.
Gloversville’s Taylor McCredie won the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 59.73 seconds. Canajoharie’s Ken Sullivan (1:00.54) was second and Fort Plain’s Ed Rolle (1:04.05) was fifth.
Sullivan also was second in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 16.19 seconds.
Broadalbin-Perth’s Jeff Derwin (134-4) won the discus, while Canajoharie’s Mike Hartlieb (127-9) was third. Fonda-Fultonville’s Bryan Finn (115-10) was fifth.
In the shot put, Derwin (43-6 1/4) was second and Finn (40-10 1/4) was fifth.
Fonda-Fultonville’s Damion Freeman (2:04.65) was fifth in the 800 meters and fifth in the 1,600 meters with a time of 4:36.73.
In the 3,200 meters, Fonda-Fultonville’s Travis Geniti (11:’05.15) was third, Fonda-Fultonville’s Clane Newcomer (11:10.92) was fourth and Gloversville’s Skyler Reed (11:22.10) was sixth.
Canajoharie’s Andrew Yacobucci (5-9) was third in the high jump, while Canajoharie’s Kaisean Adams (20-1) was fifth in the long jump.
Gloversville’s Alex Reppenhagen (41-5) was third in the triple jump.
In the 1,600 relay, Fonda-Fultonville (3:44.79) was fifth and Gloversville (3:48.06) was sixth.
In the 3,200 relay, Canajoharie (8:57.23) was fifth and Fonda-Fultonville (8;58.47) was sixth.
Galway was fourth in the 400 relay with a time of 46.70 seconds.
