HERKIMER – The Dolgeville softball team dropped both ends of its Center State Conference Division II doubleheader at Herkimer on Friday.
The Magicians won the first game, 8-0, and the second game, 7-2.
In the first game, Emily Jory threw a no-hitter to lead Herkimer to the win.
Jory struck out 10 and walked three in five innings of work.
Savannah Stalteri and Megan Ball each went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI for Herkimer, while Graci Schrader and Karli Treen each had a double.
In the second game, Jory allowed just two hits by the Blue Devils, striking out five and walking none in five innings.
Alexis Oldfield had a three-run home run, a double and four RBIs for the Magicians, while Stalteri was 2-for-3 with an RBI. all was 2-for-3 with two runs scored for Herkimer (10-4 overall, 8-1 CSC).
Bobbi Lee Hall had a double for Dolgeville (0-8 overall, 0-6 CSC).

Foothills Council
Broadalbin-Perth 3, Gloversville 2
MECO – Gabby Smith, Olivia Wallin-Eddy and Mackenzie Morrison each had two singles to help Broadalbin-Perth to a 3-2 win over Gloversville in a Foothills Council South Division softball game Thursday at Meco Ball Park.
Jordan Marshall had a triple for the Lady Patriots (5-6 overall, 5-6 Foothills), while Corinne Casey added a single.
Emily Washburn and Aspen Darling each had singles for Gloversville (2-12 overall, 1-8 Foothills).
