Pangman picks up win at Glen Ridge

FULTONVILLE – After blowing the engine in his regular ride last week, Shaun Pangman returned to Glen Ridge Motorsports Park Friday night with his big block modified and took home his first feature win of the season.

The track fell under a two-hour rain delay following the completion of the qualifying events.

When the features took to the track, Luke Horning picked up his second-straight pro stock feature win of the season with Justin Knight second, Randy Cosselman third and Todd Hoffman fourth.

Pangman started on the pole after winning his heat race and immediately took command over Willy Decker with Josh Hohenforst and Bobby Varin locked in a battle behind them.

The caution flew with five laps to go, setting up a shoot out for the victory, which Pangman easily won over Hohenforst, with Decker, Jeff Rockefeller and Jeremy Wilder rounding out the top five.

JaMike Sowle made it two in a row in the sportsman main event, beating Chris Curtis, Brian Pessolano, Rocky Warner and David Constantino to the checkers.

Chris Andrew won the cruiser division feature, while Darral Hulbert topped the field in the vintage cars.
