ALBANY – The Amsterdam Mohawks picked put heir third straight win with a 7-5 win over the Albany Dutchmen in a Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League contest at Bob Bellizzi Field.
The Dutchmen led 3-1 after one inning, but the Mohawks rallied to earn the victory.
Tyler Ungerland was 3-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored for Amsterdam, while Nick Patten was 3-for-5 with an RBI and a run scored. Tristen Carranza had a home run for the Mohawks, while Joe Genord and Kyle Sacks each had singles.
Mychael Goudreau had two hits and an RBI for Albany, while Malcolm Nachmanoff had a double and two RBIs. Justin Childers added a single and two RBIs for the Dutchmen.
Amsterdam (3-3 overall) is scheduled to host Glens Falls today at 6:35 p.m. at Shuttleworth Park.
Albany (3-2 overall) is scheduled to travel to Saugerties today for a 6:35 p.m. contest.
