AHS girls tennis tops Queensbury

AMSTERDAM – In a Foothills match that halted at 3-3 due to darkness Sept. 12, the Amsterdam girls tennis team earned a 4-3 win over Queensbury on Tuesday.

Natalie Flint sealed the win for the Lady Rams, posting a 7-6, 6-7, 7-5 win over Queensbury’s Julia Milza.

Gabby DiSalvi, Prabha Singh and Gianna Quatrini also won singles matches for the Lady Rams, who improved to 10-3 overall and 9-3 in Foothills play.

Olivia Fraser won at first singles for Queensbury (11-2 overall, 11-2 Foothills), while Caroline Gilliam and Morgan Willis won at first doubles. Cady Willows and Nikki Gadzik won at second doubles for the Spartans.
