SCHUYLERVILLE – Will Austin headed home a free kick by Stephen Spraker with 23 seconds remaining in regulation to lift Broadalbin-Perth to a 1-0 victory over Schuylerville in a Foothills Council boys soccer contest Tuesday.
Ian Halloran posted five saves to notch the shutout in goal for Broadalbin-Perth (13-0 overall, 11-0 Foothills).
Brandon Craft made 11 saves for Schuylerville (6-3-3 overall, 5-3-3 Foothills).
Johnstown 3, Hudson Falls 2
HUDSON FALLS – Charlie Brown had two goals to lift Johnstown to a Foothills Council victory over Hudson Falls.
Christian Solby also scored for the Sir Bills, while Jacob Billa had two assists.
Michael Hunt and Alexis Vazquez scored for Hudson Falls (1-10-2 overall, 1-9-2 Foothills), while Shane Grimes added two assists.
Mike Brown made three saves for Johnstown (4-6-1 overall, 3-6-1 Foothills).
Joey Potvin and Andy Mager combined to make 11 saves for Hudson Falls.
Queensbury 6, Gloversville 0
QUEENSBURY – Luke Geczy finished with a hat trick to power Queensbury to a Foothills Council victory over Gloversville.
Erik Conboy and Aidan Jordi-Donnelly also scored for the Spartans, who also benefitted from an own goal by Gloversville.
Julian Tushabe and Graham Wettersten each had an assist for Queensbury (11-2 overall, 10-1 Foothills).
Tom Socolof made two saves to post the shutout in goal for the Spartans.
Robert Ward made 10 saves for Gloversville (5-6-1 overall, 3-7-1 Foothills).
South Glens Falls 5, Amsterdam 0
SOUTH GLENS FALLS – Eric Connolly scored twice to lead South Glens Falls to a Foothills Council victory over Amsterdam.
Connor Mallory, Jordan Willis and Bobby Bruschini also scored for the Bulldogs.
Ben Willson made three saves to earn the shutout in goal for South Glens Falls (5-5-1 Foothills).
Elias Sanchez made five saves for Amsterdam (0-11-1 overall, 0-10-1 Foothills), which is slated to travel to Johnstown on Friday for a 4:30 p.m. contest.
Scotia-Glenville 6, Glens Falls 0
GLENS FALLS – Jason Crandall finished with two goals to lead Scotia-Glenville to a Foothills Council victory over Glens Falls.
David McKenzie, Julian Aldi and Matt Wiliams also scored for the Tartans, who also benefited from an own goal.
John Cremo had an assist for Scotia-Glenville (6-4 Foothills).
Kyle Steele didn’t need to make a save to post the shutout victory in goal for the Tartans.
Andrew Stamatel and Will Allen combined to make three saves for Glens Falls (6-5-1 Foothills).
Schoharie 4, Canajoharie 1
CANAJOHARIE -Skyler Jankowski scored twice to lead Schoharie to a WAC victory over Canajoharie on Monday.
Steven Alescio had a goal and an assist for Schoharie (4-6 WAC), while Matt Loubier also scored.
Canajoharie slipped to 4-9 overall and 1-9 in WAC play with the loss.
