Boys Basketball Roundup: Mekeel Christian routs Mayfield, 69-33

MAYFIELD — Mekeel Christian Academy limited Mayfield to just three first-quarter points on its way to a 69-33 victory in a Western Athletic Conference boys basketball contest Wednesday.

Deonte Holder finished with 22 points to lead Mekeel Christian Academy, while Oscar Iteji had 21. Carter Stewart added 14 points for the Lions.

Brendan Gifford led Mayfield with 12 points, while Garrett Delaney finished with nine points.

DUANESBURG — The Eagles got a buzzer-beating 3-pointer from Boone Lynch to defeat Fonda-Fultonville in Western Athletic Conference action Wednesday.

Dan Parslow paced Fonda-Fultonville with 25 points, while Nik Couture added 10.

Jared Hulbert led the Eagles with 13 points.

NORTHVILLE — Danny Reidell connected for 20 points for Northville but it was not enough as the Falcons dropped the league game to the Knights.

Chad Boyles led Middleburgh with 21 points, while C.J. Singer hit five 3-pointers in his 18-point performance and Peyton Olsen chipped in with 14.

Lucas Jetty added 13 points for Northville, while Nate Reidell hit three 3-pointers for nine points.

Zyir Beverly led the Golden Knights with 43 points, while Kyle Dikeman added 15 and Armoni Poole finished with 11.

Mike Hartlieb led Canajoharie with 13 points, while Trevor Folts added 12 points and Luke VanSlyke finished with 10.
