Dolgeville volleyball loses to Canastota

CANASTOTA — Kara Niles finished with 16 kills, three aces and three digs to power Canastota to a 3-1 victory over Dolgeville in a Center State Conference volleyball match Wednesday.

Canastota won by scores of 26-24, 25-18, 23-25 and 25-14.

Loryn Wilcox posted 30 assists, six kills and six digs for Canastota (7-2 overall), while Taylor Kutzuba had 21 digs. Brooke Weber finished with eight kills and five digs for Canastota and Gracie Morris added six digs and two kills.

Raquel Borst registered 17 kills, 12 digs, three aces and two blocks for Dolgeville (5-4 overall), while Rachel Gross finished with 17 digs, 11 assists and three kills. Mercedes Rumrill had 19 assists, 16 digs, four aces and three kills for the Blue Devils, Bobbie Lee Hall posted 16 digs and two kills and Kacey Daley had seven digs, two kills and two aces.

Ashley Krasko, Emily Giarusso and Kinsey Randall all had eight digs for Dolgeville, while Frankie Jenison added seven kills and two digs.
