Fake competing for Morrisville

MORRISVILLE — Host Morrisville State College wrapped up the regular hunt seat show schedule Saturday, earning reserve high point team honors as they fell two points shy of show champion Skidmore College at the riding arena on Fearon Road in Morrisville.

Jacqueline Fake, a Dolgeville graduate, topped her section of the advanced walk trot canter class for the show win.

Morrisville State had a total 14 riders post top three rides on the day, as they finished the regular season with 308 team points to earn reserve championship team accolades.

Morrisville State will send 12 qualified riders to the Regional Championships held at Skidmore on Saturday for an opportunity to compete at the Zone Championships in April.
