Boys Tennis Roundup: Gloversville tennis drops opener, 4-3

SCOTIA — Scotia Glenville won both doubles matches and two singles matches to post a 4-3 victory over Gloversville in a Foothills Council boys tennis match Monday.

Jacob McKenzie and Ethan McKone won singles matches for the Tartans.

Keith Ogden and Lucas Kownack won at first doubles for Scotia-Glenville (1-0 overall, 1-0 Foothills), while Jared O’Connor and Joseph Rumfelt won at second doubles.

Damian Bruce, Brian Hugo and Nicholas Bruce won singles matches for Gloversville (0-1 overall, 0-1 Foothills).

Mike Machold and Antonio Natole won singles matches for the Rams (1-0 overall, 1-0 Foothills).

Reese Devine and Mike Hughes won at first doubles for Amsterdam, while Nathan Grant and Spencer Flint won at second doubles.

Mike Boyce, Brian Giacchetta and Joe Hall won singles matches for South Glens Falls (1-0 overall, 1-0 Foothills).
