AHS girls lacrosse tops Schenectady

AMSTERDAM — Kayli Hoefs finished with five goals to the Amsterdam to a 12-5 victory over Schenectady in a non-league girls lacrosse game Wednesday at Lynch Literacy Academy.

It was the first home win for the first-year varsity program.

Lucia Liverio had two goals and an assist for the Lady Rams, while Hope Adair registered a goal and an assist.

Victoria Barone-Lopez, Britney Potter, Ashley Searles and Alyssa Kuchis also scored for Amsterdam.

The Lady Rams finished their inaugural season with a 2-15 overall record.
