Boys Lacrosse Roundup: Sir Bills lose to Greenwich, 17-1

GREENWICH — Luke Pemrick finished with two goals and seven assists to help Greenwich post a 17-1 victory over Johnstown in a Foothills Council boys lacrosse game Wednesday.

Bryce Wilbur scored five goals for Greenwich (9-1 overall), while Hayden Stalter added two goals and an assist. Peyton Howard scored twice for the Witches, while Jack Pemrick, Ellis Pemrick, Henry Gartner, Connor Lawlor, Sam Whiting and Connor Abernathy also scored.

Ben Poitras scored the lone goal for the Sir Bills.

Johnstown (1-11 overall, 0-9 Foothills) is scheduled to host Utica Notre Dame on Saturday at 6 p.m. at Knox Field.

South Glens Falls 10, Amsterdam 1

AMSTERDAM — Chis Pikul scored the lone goal for the Amsterdam boys lacrosse team in a Foothills Council loss to South Glens Falls on Tuesday at Lynch Literacy Academy.

Jesse Kellogg made 17 saves for the Rams.

Amsterdam (1-8 overall, 0-6 Foothills) is scheduled to host Schuylerville today at 5 p.m.
