Open practice set at Caroga Creek

EPHRATAH — Caroga Creek Raceway will host a practice session tonight at the Route 10 facility.

Gates to the racing facility will open at 4 p.m. with practice being staged from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. There will be a $10. pit admission fee and a kart practice fee of $10. for all divisions.

Caroga Creek Raceway’s Saturday race program was moved to Sunday due to impending weather conditions and 65 karts turned out for the 16-division, non-points show.

It was announced that the scheduled Central New York Unlimited All-Stars event has been rescheduled for Aug. 19 and the Stock Lite Clash at the Creek will also be rescheduled with a date announced shortly.

CCR will host a regular night of points racing Saturday with warmups staged at 4 p.m. with racing at 6 p.m.
