MAYFIELD — Dylan Bumpus scored in overtime to lift the Mayfield boys soccer team to a 2-1 victory over Greenville in the championship game of the Mayfield Sports Booster Club Tournament on Saturday.
Daniel Leach scored in regulation for the Panthers on an assist from Evan Lehr.
Paul Mitchell scored the lone goal for Greenville.
Lehr finished with two saves for Mayfield (7-0 overall), while John Gergen made three saves for Greenville.
For Greenville, Cole Akerman, James Mitchell and Paul Mitchell made the all-tournament team. Lehr, Leach, Garret Delaney and Tommy Gates represented Mayfield on the all-tournament team.
In the consolation game, Waterford-Halfmoon posted a 3-2 victory over Lake George.
Joey Espey-Vanier, Hunter Guertin and Nate Power scored for the Fordians.
Nick Hoffis and Colin Leonelli scored for Lake George.
FONDA — Fonda-Fultonville topped Cairo-Durham, 1-0, in the opening round of the Fonda-Fultonville All-Sports Booster Club Tournament.
Oscar Ramirez scored the game’s only goal for the Braves on an assist by Brett Kneeskern.
Mitch Araya made four saves to post the shutout in goal for FFCS. James Briody made eight saves for Cairo-Durham.
In the other first-round game, Cobleskill-Richmondville posted a 7-2 victory over Amsterdam.
Greg Hotaling and Andrew Tracy each scored two goals the Bulldogs, while Nick Yorke, Dan Sawyer and Adrian Kowal also scored.
Ever Arevalo scored both goals for Amsterdam (0-7 overall).
Nick Beevers made three saves for Cobleskill-Richmondville, while Matt Crounse and Jon Schultz combined to make five saves for Amsterdam.
Cobleskill-Richmondville will face host FFCS in the championship game at 7 p.m. on Sept. 30. Amsterdam will face Cairo-Durham in the consolation game Sept. 30 at 5 p.m.
