FMCC men’s soccer splits two games

JOHNSTOWN — The Fulton-Montgomery Community College men’s soccer team went 1-1 over the weekend.

On Saturday, the Raiders lost 6-0 at Herkimer before rebounding to post a 3-1 home victory over Clinton on Sunday.

Luke Murphy scored four goals to lead Herkimer (7-0 overall) to the victory, while Kevin Valdovinos and Brady Wheelock also scored.

On Sunday, Jack Albertin scored all three goals for the Raiders in the victory over Clinton.

FMCC (2-2 overall) is slated to host SUNY Broome on Saturday at 3 p.m.
