FFCS bowlers sweep past OESJ

AMSTERDAM — The Fonda-Fultonville boys and girls bowling teams swept Oppenheim-Ephratah/St. Johnsville in the Western Athletic Conference season-opener for both squads Thursday at Imperial Lanes.

The Braves posted a 4-0 victory over OESJ 2,270-1,724 on games scores of 758-556, 798-557 and 714-611.

The Fonda-Fultonville girls also posted a 4-0 victory 1,630-1,332 on games scores of 591-435, 508-461 and 531-436.

Aubrey Krohn led the Lady Braves with her 136-386 triple, while Crystal Coleman turned in a 152-377 series. Kelly O’Conner paced OESJ with her 115 triplicate for a 345 series, while Sarah Carl and Hannah Ouderkirk both finished with 280 triples.

Dylan Livingston led the Fonda-Fultonville boys with his 188-551 triple, while Ethan Auspelmyer turned in a 185-496 and Connor Barnes rolled a 176-482.

Skyler Barker led the Wolves with his 147-412 series,w hile Braden Fredericks turned in a 134-370.
