ROCHESTER — The Sage Colleges’ women’s volleyball team’s junior tri-captain Brittany Orminski, a Galway graduate, was honored on Tuesday with the release of the Empire 8 women’s volleyball all-star team.
Orminski was honored with a selection to the Empire 8 Sportswoman of the Year list for her efforts in 2017.
The junior setter played in 100 sets this fall for the squad, while adding 241 setting assists with 25 aces and 182 digs.
She also finished the season with 23 total blocks with 93.0 points as a first-year performer for the Gators and had 56 kills.
