ALBANY — The Sage Colleges’ women’s basketball team hosted RPI in its 2017-18 home opener on Tuesday night in Kahl Gym.
Prior to the contest, Sage unveiled the championship banners last year’s team captured after garnering the program’s second Skyline Conference Tournament Championship and a spot in the 2017 NCAA Division III Tournament. Sage posted the 70-58 win to spoil RPI’s perfect season as the Gators improve to 2-1 and RPI drops to 3-1.
Junior guard Emily Parslow, a Fonda-Fultonville graduate lea all players with her 18 points for the Gators. She also had nine assists.
Sage returns to action Sunday, traveling to SUNY-Polytechnic for a 2 p.m. non-conference game.
