EPHRATAH — Caroga Creek Speedway postponed today’s swap meet due to a wet weather forecast.
The event was rescheduled to Nov. 25.
The two-event program will begin with the first swap meet open to anyone who desires to swap, sell or buy used or new racing parts with spots for parts setup for sale at $20 for the entire day.
Setup will be at 8 a.m., with gates opening at 9 a.m. for the start of the swap meet of which will last until racing is completed.
General admission to the pit area for anyone five and older will be $10 with four and younger free.
Caroga Creek will also host its final racing event of the season, the One Last Hurrah 2017 Event for any and all kart competitors in the Northeast. Practice for all competitors will begin at noon followed by a drivers/owner meeting, qualifying heats and features completing the final 2017 events at the 1/5-mile clay oval.
There will be again a $10 general admission fee to enter the pit area with 4 and under free.
The $10 general admission fee will be for both the racing program and swap meet.
The concession will be open for beverage and food during the day and at the completion of the racing program owner/promoter Todd Moran will stage a bonfire in the pit area.
