Boys Basketball Roundup: Fort Plain drops season opener, 63-50

DAVENPORT — Nick Lutz finished with 21 points to lead Charlotte Valley to a 63-50 victory over Fort Plain in a non-league boys basketball game Wednesday.

Ryan Finney scored 16 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for the Wildcats, while Greg Zuill added 13 points.

Jacob Hisert led Fort Plain with 17 points, while Jaxson Yacowenia finished with 13 points.

Patrick Conway and Jeffrey VanAnden each had 10 points for Queensbury (1-0 overall, 1-0 Foothills).

Riley Maddison finished with 19 points for Hudson Falls (0-2 overall, 0-1 Foothills), while Connor Hermanson added 10 points.
