PITTSFORD — Sage’s women’s basketball team travelled to western New York to take on St. John Fisher College on Friday night in an Empire 8 contest. After forcing overtime, Sage fell to the host Cardinals, 75-70 in overtime. With the loss, Sage drops to 12-5 overall and 6-2 in the league, while St. John Fisher is now 13-5 overall and 8-1 in the conference.
Sage’s junior guard Emily Parslow, a Fonda-Fultonville graduate, finished with a team-best 23 points.
Sage returns to action today at Nazareth College for a 4 p.m. Empire 8 match-up.
