Mowrey sparks Cobleskill win

KEYSTONE, Pa. — The SUNY Cobleskill men’s lacrosse team returned to action on Thursday evening traveling to Keystone College to post a dramatic 12-11 overtime victory over the host Giants in non-conference action.

SUNY Cobleskill tied the contest at 11-11 with 39 seconds left in regulation when senior attackman, Johnstown graduate, Jeremy Mowrey found the back of the net to send the game into overtime.

With time winding down in the extra session, Mowrey once again played the hero ending the contest with the game winner with only 47 seconds left on the clock to give the Fighting Tigers their first win of the season.

Mowrey finished the contest with three goals and seven ground balls picked up for the Orange and Black on the evening.
