SOUTH GLENS FALLS — Gloversville won three of five singles matches and both doubles contests to post a 5-2 victory over South Glens Falls in a Foothills Council tennis match Wednesday.
Damian Bruce, Ryan Issa and Cam Biche won singles matches for Gloversville (3-0 overall, 3-0 Foothills).
Marawan Abbas and Feras Masri won at first doubles for the Huskies, while Simon Bruce and Jeannine DeMarco won at second doubles.
Jack Comar and Chris Rich won singles matches for South Glens Falls (0-2 overall, 0-2 Foothills).
Gloversville is slated to host Glens Falls on Friday at 4:15 p.m. at the Knox Field tennis courts in Johnstown.

Matthew Ricciardelli, Brady Stark, Charlie Vergeneres, Aidan Rowley and Matt Mundell all won singles matches for the Spartans.
Brandon Ladd and Brett Champion won at first doubles for Queensbury (2-1 overall, 2-0 Foothills), while Colin Fraser and Kevin Milza won at second doubles.
Amsterdam (1-1 overall, 1-1 Foothills) is scheduled to travel to Scotia-Glenville on Friday.
