Huskies put unbeaten record on line today against Amsterdam

JOHNSTOWN — The Gloversville Huskies are scheduled to take on the Amsterdam Rams in a Foothills Council tennis match, weather permitting, at 4:15 p.m. today at Knox Field.

Gloversville has rolled to a 4-0 overall record and is 4-0 against Foothills Council competition, while Amsterdam is 1-2 overall and in the Foothills.

The Huskies swept a season-opening doubleheader at Hudson Falls, 7-0 and 7-0 and followed the wins up with a 5-2 victory over South glens Falls and a 5-2 victory over Glens Falls in their home-court opening Friday.

Amsterdam posted a 4-3 season-opening victory over Schuylerville before falling 7-0 to Queensbury and Scotia-Glenville.
