JHS boys lacrosse tops Hoosick Falls

JOHNSTOWN — Trevor Murphy finished with three goals and two assists to lead Johnstown to a 12-6 victory over Hoosick Falls in a Wasaren League boys lacrosse game Monday at Knox Field.

The Sir Bills led 8-2 at the half on their way to the win.

Kerry Blackwood had three goals and an assist for Johnstown, Josh Hoyt had two goals and an assist and Garrett Way added a goal and two assists.

Ben Poitras, Zach Serpa and Brandon Handy also scored for the Sir Bills.

Johnstown (2-1 overall, 1-1 Wasaren) is scheduled to host Cambridge on Saturday at 5 p.m.
