SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. — The Sage Colleges’ women’s and men’s track and field teams travelled to Massachusetts to compete at the Mt. Holyoke Spring Invitational.
In the women’s meet, the team crown went to Eastern Connecticut State University with a score of 148, while Sage was 12th with 6 points.
Junior Victoria Opalka, a Broadalbin-Perth graduate, was 13th in the 800-meter run in a time of 2:45.70. She also was 11th in the 1,500-meter run in 5:35.93.
Sage is scheduled to compete today at the Hamilton College Mid-Week Meet at 4 p.m.
