QUEENSBURY — The Amsterdam Rams dropped a pair of Foothills Council tennis matches Thursday afternoon at Queensbury High School.
Amsterdam lost to Queensbury 7-0 before coming up on the short end of the 4-3 score against Schuylerville
Zach Verde split his No. 1 singles matches, dropping an 8-0 decision to Queensbury’s Matt Ricciardelli and beating Schuylerville’s Khial Hailu 8-5.
Spencer Flint split his No. 4 singles matches, beating Schuylerville’s Rachel McInerney 8-1 and falling to Queensbury’s Aidan rowley, 8-1.
The doubles team of Philip Johnson and Nick antonelli picked up the win over Schuylerville’s Brandon Ashauer and Justin Ashauer, 8-2.
