JOHNSTOWN — Zach Serpa collected four goals and Trevor Murphy had five assists in Johnstown’s 8-7 overtime loss to Cambridge in Wasaren League lacrosse action Monday at Knox Field.
Nick Stillwell had two goals for Johnstown and M.J. Heroth tallied a scored. Zach Maxson came up with 12 saves in net for the Sir Bills.
Johnstown will take to the road today for a league game against in Hoosick Falls before returning to Knox Field Saturday for a 7 p.m. non-league game against Schuylerville.

SCOTIA — The Johnstown Lady Bills took an early two-goal lead in Monday’s Foothills Council match but Scotia-Glenville outscored the Lady bills 9-2 in the second half to secure the 19-9 league win.
Amber Tesi and Alexandra Queeney had two goals apiece for Johnstown, while Maddie Etherton collected three assists and Madison Delgado had a goal and two assists.
Abbey Hollister and Paige Stewart had a goal and an assist for Johnstown, while Abbie Levin and Rachel Lee added one goal apiece.
Emily Wheelis collected seven saves in goal for Johnstown.
Lillian Murphy delivered nine goals for Scotia-Glenville, while Catherine Rumfelt had three goals and five assists for the Lady Tartans.
Johnstown (6-2 overall, 5-2 Foothills) will look to return to the win column tonight with a 7 p.m. match at Knox Field against Amsterdam (0-9 overall, 0-7 Foothills).
Greenwich 13, Amsterdam 8
AMSTERDAM — Greenwich got six goals from Megan Steindl and three more from Emma Brophy as the Witches topped Amsterdam 13-8 in Foothills Council action Monday at the Lynch Literacy Academy.
Kayli Hoefs led the Lady Rams (0-9 overall, 0-7 Foothills) with five goals while Lucia Liverio had two goals and Lily Orengo added a goal. Goalkeeper Paige Bertuch collected 11 saves in net for Amsterdam.
