AHS girls tennis loses to Queensbury

QUEENSBURY — Queensbury won all five singles matches and both doubles contests on its way to a 7-0 victory over Amsterdam in a Foothills Council girls tennis match Monday.

Morgan Willis, Olivia Przybysz, Meghan Chase, Alexandra Murry and Brandi Deckert all won singles matches for the Spartans.

Evanna Cerrone and Katie MacEachron won at first doubles for Queensbury (5-2 overall, 5-1 Foothills), while Lynsey Hughes and Julia Demboski won at second doubles.

Amsterdam (0-5 overall, 0-4 Foothills) is scheduled to host Glens Falls on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
