Boys Soccer Roundup: Wells loses season opener, 7-0

WELLS — Andrew Pelkey finished with two goals and an assist to lead Schroon Lake to a 7-0 victory over Wells in a boys Northern Soccer League contest Tuesday.

Marcus Pence scored twice for the Wildcats, while Cian Bresnahan had a goal and an assist.

Colin Bresnahan and Jaike Brady also scored for Schroon Lake.

Wells is scheduled to travel to Schroon Lake on Friday for a 4:30 p.m. contest.

Center State Conference

Old Forge 5, Dolgeville 2

OLD FORGE — Sasha Fielteau and Charlie Uzdavis each had a goal and an assist to lead Old Forge to a 5-2 victory over Dolgeville in a Center State Conference boys soccer contest Monday.

Tyler Kane, Dylan Laporte and Noah Fenton also scored for the Eskimos.

Owen Davies and Andrew Risley scored for Dolgeville (3-1 overall).

David Ehrensbeck (3 saves) and Dawson Dunn (2 saves) shared the win in goal for Old Forge.

Brian Lamphere made 15 saves for the Blue Devils.
