FMCC loses to SUNY Adirondack

QUEENSBURY — Karley Hertzner finished with nine kills to lead SUNY Adirondack to a 3-0 victory over Fulton-Montgomery Community College in a Mountain Valley Conference volleyball match Wednesday.

The Timberwolves on by scores of 25-14, 29-27 and 25-15.

Emily Vetere had eight kills for SUNY Adirondack, Jana Depalo posted six kills and Leah Bowen register 16 digs. Breanna MacDuff added 28 assists and four aces for the Timberwolves, who improved to 3-2 overall and 1-0 in conference play.

Camryn Leggett led the Raiders with 10 kills, 10 blocks and four digs on the evening. Brianna Port and Tesa Brody finished with six and five kills each. Ashlee Kelly led with 25 assists in the contest.

FMCC (2-5 overall, 0-1 MVC) is scheduled to travel to SUNY Broome on Saturday for pod play.
