FMCC men’s soccer tops Niagara County

SANBORN — Yasser Mourad finished with two goals and two assists to lead the Fulton-Montgomery Community College men’s soccer team to a 5-2 victory over Niagara County Community College on Saturday.

The Raiders trailed 2-0 before scoring the final five goals of the game.

Ahmed Mourad and Patrick Palmer each had a goal and an assist for FMCC (4-2-1 overall), while Kevin Maldonado also scored. Jefferson Jurado added an assist for the Raiders.

David Reiley and Rob Siejak scored for Niagara County.

Jonathan Mendoza and Lawrence Durudogan shared the shutout in goal for FMCC, which is scheduled to travel to Cayuga Community College today for a 3 p.m. contest.
