FONDA — Stewart Friesen and David Constantino kicked off their Thunder Along The Mohawk Weekend with victories Friday night at Fonda Speedway.
Friesen picked up the win in the 60-lap, DIRTCar Series 358-modified feature with Bobby Varin second, Pat Ward third, Erick Rudolph fourth and Jeremy Wilder fifth.
Ronnie Davis III, Demetrios Drellos, Ronnie Johnson, Tim Sears Jr. and Ryan Bartlett rounded out the top 10.
Constantino held off David Schilling for the 50-lap DIRTCar Sportsman Series victory. Brian Pessolano finished third followed by Mark Mortensen, Tim Hartman Jr., Adam McAuliffe, Zach Sobotka, Jeremiah Munson, Jackson Gill and Chad Edwards.
Randy Miller took home the win in the companion $500-to-win 20-lap street stock main event.
Racing continues today at Fonda Speedway with the big block modifieds taking center stage in “The Jack” a DIRTCar Series 100-lap feature with a guaranteed starting spot in the main event at Super DIRT Week at stake.
Also on the race card will be a 50-lap DIRTCar Series event for the pro stocks and a 30-lap DIRTCar Series race for the sportsman division, along with a 25-lap A-Main for the Empire Super Sprints.
