Girls Soccer Roundup: Fonda-Fultonville loses to Middleburgh, 2-0

FONDA — Rylie Smith finished with a goal and an assist to power Middleburgh to a 2-0 victory over Fonda-Fultonville in a Western Athletic Conference girls soccer contest Monday at Fonda-Fultonville High School.

Vivian Hanley also scored for the Knights, while Kelsey Terrell added an assist.

Ruby Ecker made five saves to post the shutout for Middleburgh.

Emma Crahan made six saves for Fonda-Fultonville (0-4 overall, 0-1 WAC).

Waterville Tournament

Dolgeville 6, Waterville 0

WATERVILLE — Rylee Lamphere finished with three goals and an assist to lead Dolgeville to a victory over Brookfield in the consolation game of the Waterville Tournament on Saturday.

Gabby Kenyon scored twice for the Blue Devils, while Alexis Smith had a goal and two assists. Isabella Nichols added an assist for Dolgeville.

Ryanne Williams made three saves to post the shutout in goal for the Blue Devils.

Tori Johnson made 10 saves for Waterville.

Lamphere and Kenyon were named to the all-tournament team for Dolgeville (1-1-1 overall).
