Girls Soccer Roundup: Lady Bills get past Tigers

JOHNSTOWN — Carolyn Fitzpatrick netted a hat trick to lead Johnstown to a 3-2 victory over Hudson Falls in a Foothills Council girls soccer game Saturday at Johnstown High School.

Mango Delgado had two assists for the Lady Bills, who outshot the Tigers 18-8.

Mikayla Varney scored both goals for Hudson Falls (1-4-1 Foothills).

Hope Buboltz made four saves for Johnstown (3-2-2 overall, 3-2-2 Foothills), while Abra LaFontaine made 10 saves.

Broadalbin-Perth 2, Schuylerville 0

BROADALBIN — Alayna Preston and Lexi Stewart scored to lead Broadalbin-Perth to a Foothills Council victory over Schuylerville at Patriot Field.

Morgan Rossi made seven saves to post the shutout for Broadalbin-Perth (3-3-1 overall, 2-3-1 Foothills)

Maggie McShane made six saves for Schuylerville (2-4-1 Foothills).

Queensbury 5, Gloversville 0

GLOVERSVILLE — Brigid Duffy scored twice to lead Queensbury to a Foothills Council victory over Gloversville.

Christina Cummings had a goal and an assist for the Spartans (6-1 overall, 6-0 Foothills), while Izzy Dennison and Cara Parker also scored. Sophia Keshmiri, Kiersten Birkholz and Maddie Montgomery all had an assist for Queensbury.

Kaileigh Hunt made five saves to post the shutout in goal for the Spartans.

Katie Hastings made 11 saves for Gloversville (4-5 overall, 2-4 Foothills).

Scotia-Glenville 13, Glens Falls 1

SCOTIA — Rylee O’Connor finished with three goals and four assists to power Scotia-Glenville to a Foothills Council victory over Glens Falls.

Morgan Nichter had two goals and an assist for the Lady Tartans, while Megan Steele had a goal and three assists. Gwen Currie had a goal and two assists for Scotia-Glenville, while Brooklyn Drago and Morgan Vanderstad each had a goal and an assist.

Lucy Crounse, Sage Luke, Annika Nielsen and Annamarie Piccirillo also scored for the Lady Tartans.

Emily Lunt scored for Glens Falls, while Stephanie Meehan had an assist.

Camryn Verdi made five saves for Scotia-Glenville.

Mikayla Bennett made 18 saves for Glens Falls.

Center State Conference

Dolgeville 3, Westmoreland 0

DOLGEVILLE — Alexis Smith scored twice to lead Dolgeville to a victory over Westmoreland.

Emma Bilinski also scored for the Blue Devils, while Gabby Kenyon had two assists. Rylee Lamphere had an assist for Dolgeville (4-1-1 overall).

Ryanne Williams made 11 saves to post the shutout for the Blue Devils.

Julia Muller made 18 saves for Westmoreland.

Non-league

Northville 3, Granville 0

NORTHVILLE — Grace Forsey scored twice to lead Northville to a non-league victory over Granville.

Brytney Moore had a goal and an assist for the Lady Falcons, while Bre Strouse added an assist.

Northville (4-2 overall) is scheduled to host Duanesburg on Monday at 4:30 p.m.
