Johnstown shuts out Greenwich; improves unbeaten streak to nine

JOHNSTOWN — The Johnstown Lady Bills ran their record to 9-0 overall with an 8-0 non-league victory over Greenwich Thursday at Knox Field.

The Lady Bills (9-0 overall, 6-0 Foothills) got a four-goal performance from Anna Lee, while Taryn Ringer added two goals to go with goals from Emily Fleming and Kanako Sasaki.

Molly Memrick finished with three assists, while Maddie Etherton Emily Fleming, Abbey Hollister and Kalena Eaton added assists.

For the match, the Lady bills outshot Greenwich 47-1 and led in corners 22-1. Bracie Vose had one save for Johnstown, while Kylee Masse collected 37 saves for Greenwich (0-6).

Queensbury 15, Gloversville 0

QUEENSBURY — Jordan Bentley had four goals and four assists for Queensbury, while Alyssa Fitzgerald added three goals and two assists for the Spartans.

Brittany Barton and Emily Korniak had two goals apiece for Queensbury, while Kelsey Zehr, Chloe Liles, Lindsey Allen, and Hailey Ballard all added goals.

Kimi Hastings collected 38 saves in goal for Gloversville (0-8 overall, 0-7 Foothills), while Kamdyn Bashant made four stops for Queensbury (5-2, 5-2).

Scotia-Glenville 4, Schuylerville 0

SCHUYLERVILLE — Vicky Darling had two first-half goals to lead Scotia-Glenville over the Black Horses.

Olivia Gaviti and Julianna Vanzy round out the scoring for the Lady Tartans (6-2 overall, 5-1 Foothills).

Katie Claps made 15 saves in goal for Schuylerville (3-5 overall, 2-5 Foothills) and Sophia Lagore made six stops for Scotia-Glenville.
