FMCC’s Port, Brody earn all-conference honors

JOHNSTOWN — Brianna Port and Tesa Brody of the Fulton-Montgomery Community College women’s volleyball team were named to the 2018 all-Mountain Valley Conference team. 

Both Port and Brody played an integral role at the outside hitter position for the Lady Raiders this season.

Port led the team with 106 kills on the season and finished with 113 digs.   Brody finished with 122 digs, 103 kills and 17 service aces. 

SUNY Adirondack’s Brenna MacDuff was named Player of the Year, while Herkimer coach Dianna Ste-Marie was named Coach of the Year.

Rounding out the all-conference team were Bailey VanGordon (Mohawk Valley), Kristin Wood (Hudson Valley), and Karley Hertzner (SUNY Adirondack).
