Boucaud, Brado post solid showings

UTICA — The SUNY Cobleskill men’s track and field team turned in their most impressive outing of the season over the weekend posting a team score of 54 points to place sixth in a field of 16 teams at the 2019 Blue & Orange Invitational Multi-Events Meet hosted by Utica College at the Todd & Jenn Hutton Sports & Recreation Center.

The Fighting Tigers were led by the tandem of freshman sprinter/jumper Kevon Boucaud, an Amsterdam graduate, who won the 60-meter dash in a time of 6.98 seconds and the long jump with a mark of 22-11 while finishing third overall in the 200-meter dash in a time of 22.91 seconds and by sophomore multi-event performer Tyler Brado, and Oppenheim-Ephratah/St. Johnsville graduate, who won the high jump clearing a height of 6-6.

The Fighting Tigers also scored in the 4 X 200-meter relay where the team of sophomore Brandon Booker (Beacon), Brado, freshman Ryan Johnson (Island Trees) and Boucaud placed third in a time of 1:35.82.
