WATERTOWN — Geordon Blanton hit a three-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to lift Amsterdam to a 7-3 victory over Watertown in a Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League contest Sunday at Alex T. Duffy Fairgrounds.
Max Costes was 3-for-5 with a run scored for the Mohawks, who won their third straight game.
Drew Kendall had a home run for Amsterdam, while JD Mundy and DJ Poteet each had singles.
Danny Watson earned the win on the mound for the Mohawks, striking out three, walking none and allowing two hits in 2 1/3 innings of relief.
Emil Matti had a double and a single for Watertown, while James Krick had a home run, two RBIs and scored a run.
Drake Smith and Vinny DeRubeis each had two singles for the Rapids.
Amsterdam (9-2 overall) is scheduled to host Mohawk Valley on Tuesday at 6:35 p.m.
