SAUGERTIES — Jake Skrine was 3-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored to help Saugerties to 4-3 victory over Amsterdam in a Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League contest Sunday at Cantine Veterans Memorial Field.
The loss ended the Mohawks’ eight-game win streak.
Max Cotier was 2-for-4 with an RBI for the Stallions, Hayden Travinski had a triple and scored a run, and Tyler Kelder had a double and an RBI.
Kevin Jimenez was 2-for-3 with an RBI for Amsterdam, while Max Costes had a double and scored a run.
Dalton Reese and Geordon Blanton each had singles for the Mohawks.
Amsterdam (14-3 overall) is off today before hosting Albany on Tuesday at 6:35 p.m.
Saugerties (9-9 overall) is scheduled to host Oneonta on Tuesday at 7:05 p.m.
