Basketball camp set for Gloversville

GLOVERSVILLE — The Dragons Basketball Camp will take place at Gloversville High School on July 22 to 26.

The camp is for boys and girls entering grades four through nine, who are looking to improve their basketball skills in order to take their game to the next level.

The focus of the camp is to improve players ball handling, shooting, passing, footwork, speed and basketball IQ.

Camp will run daily from 8 a.m. to noon.

The cost of camp will be $75, which includes a T-shirt and a chance to compete for daily prizes.

Participants should bring their own ball.

The camp directors will be Gloversville boys varsity coach Aric Kucel and FMCC women’s coach Kevin Jones. Fort Plain boys varsity coach Casey Russom as well as Gloversville varsity basketball players and assistant coaches will serve as camp coaches.
