AMSTERDAM — Powered by a nine-run first inning to back up starting pitcher Dale Stanavich, the Amsterdam Mohawks cruised to a 14-1 victory over the Glens Falls Dragons Friday night at Rao Family Stadium at Shuttleworth Park.
Michael Turconi led the Mohawks (28-8) with a triple, double and a single, driving in one and scoring twice.
Matt Padre picked up three RBIs with a double and a single and scored twice.
Brandon Kruzinski had two singles, an RBI and a stolen base for Glens Falls (11-26).
