Mohawks sweep past Dragons

AMSTERDAM — The Amsterdam Mohawks recovered from a pair of weekend losses to sweep a Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League doubleheader from the Glens Falls Dragons Tuesday night at Rao Family Stadium at Shuttleworth Park.

Amsterdam won the opener 3-2 on Dalton Reese’s pinch hit single to drive in Mitch Hartigan.

In the second game, Paul Franzoni, Geordon Blanton and Max Costes all homered in the Mohawks 13-3 victory.
