Johnstown PTSA tourney set for Sept. 14

JOHNSTOWN — The Johnstown High School/Knox Junior High School Parent Teacher Student Association will host its fourth annual golf tournament Sept. 14 at 9 a.m. at Fox Run Golf Club.

The tournament will be sponsored by Fulton County Electrical & Electronics Contractors and Dan’s Excavation.

All proceeds will benefit the Johnstown High School/Knox Junior High School PTSA. The tournament will be an 18-hole, four-person scramble for players ages 14 and older.

This annual event is the biggest fundraiser for the JHS/Knox PTA during the year. The entry fee will be $95 per person, which includes greens fees and cart, gift for each golfer, food at the turn and a luncheon after.

Participants will have the opportunity to win a 2019 Chevrolet Trail Boss (left photo), courtesy of James Chevrolet, with a hole-in-one on the fifth hole or a 2019 Toyota Tundra (right photo) courtesy of Steet Toyota, with a hole-in-one on the 11th hole.
