NORTHVILLE — The Northville-Mayfield golf team dropped a pair of Western Athletic Conference matches to Duanesburg and Canajoharie on Thursday and Friday at Sacandaga Golf Club.
In Thursday’s match, Northville-Mayfield dropped a 14-1 decision to Duanesburg.
John Grant carded a round of 39 to lead Duanesburg and Matt Coons posted a 41. Dylan Carlson and Cormac Marz each had rounds of 46 for the Eagles.
Gavin Bown led Northville-Mayfield with a toured of 51, while James DeRonda carded a 54. Jordan Miller had a 60 for Northville-Mayfield, Dillan Salvione had a 69, Nicholas Williams had a 71 and George Abdella added an 84.
In Friday’s contest, Jack Montanye finished with a 47 to lead Canajoharie to a 13-2 victory over Northville-Mayfield.
Riley Montanye and Mike Tiberio each had rounds of 49 for the Cougars, while Tyler Montanye had a 51. Tyler Christman carded a 52 for Canajoharie and Kyle Oertel posted a 54.
Bown led Northville-Mayfield with a 47, Abdella had a 55 and Miller posted a 57.
DeRonda finished with a 58 for Northville-Mayfield, Salvione had a 70 and Williams added 79.
