AHS girls tennis loses to Scotia, 6-1

SCOTIA — Scotia-Glenville won four of five singles matches and both doubles contests to post a 6-1 victory over Amsterdam in a Foothills Council girls tennis match Friday.

Charlotte Tvelia, Julia Carroll, Maddie Cook and Jordan Ladouceur all won singles matches for the Tartans

Rosa Cieszynski and Emma Schaub won at first doubles for Scotia-Glenville (3-0 overall, 2-0 Foothills), while Kaitlyn Blucher and Piper Wiegert won at second doubles

Natalie Flint posted the lone win for Amsterdam (2-1 overall, 2-1 Foothills).
