AHS girls tennis tops Glens Falls, 5-2

AMSTERDAM — Amsterdam won three of five singles matches and both doubles contests to post a 5-2 victory over Glens Falls in a Foothills Council girls tennis match at Amsterdam High School on Wednesday.

Natalie Flint, Emily Brittain and Abby Peninger all won singles matches for Amsterdam (4-3 overall, 3-3 Foothills).

Emma Pierce and Niza Mendivil-Frissia won at first doubles for the Lady Rams, while Astrid Dimas and Lauren Mowrey won at second doubles.

Julia Westfall and Ella Crossman won singles matches for Glens Falls (0-7 overall, 0-7 Foothills).
