Gabe Gifford assisted on the goal for the Panthers, who outshot the Cougars by an 11-2 margin.
Owen Graf made two saves to post the shutout in goal for Mayfield (3-6 overall, 3-2 WAC).
Andrew Meka made 10 stops for Canajoharie (2-7 overall, 2-3 WAC).

WELLS — Logan Bush finished with four goals and two assists to power Newcomb to a victory over Wells on Thursday.
Alex Damashevitz had a goal and two assists for Newcomb, while Lan Tran, Mason Allen, Zachary Phelps and Elliot Vaughn also scored.
Ethan Armstrong had three saves to post the shutout in goal for Newcomb.
