Girls Soccer Roundup: Lady Bills edge Broadalbin-Perth in overtime

JOHNSTOWN — Carolyn Fitzpatrick and Madison Delgado each had a goal and an assist to lead Johnstown to a 3-2 overtime victory over Broadalbin-Perth in a Foothills Council South Division girls soccer contest Tuesday at Johnstown High School.

It was the first win in seven games this season for Johnstown.

Jaidyn Chest also scored for the Lady Bills on an assist from Grace Giarrizzo.

Brooke Bush had a goal and an assist for Broadalbin-Perth (5-2 overall, 3-2 Foothills), while Victoria Corcuera also scored.

Hope Buboltz made seven saves for Johnstown (1-4-2 overall, 1-4 Foothills), while Cait Palmatier finished with eight saves for the Lady Patriots.

Broadalbin-Perth is slated to host Fonda-Fultonville today at Patriot Field at 7:30 p.m., while Johnstown is scheduled to travel to Glens Falls on Friday for a 4:30 p.m. contest.

Queensbury 4, South Glens Falls 0

QUEENSBURY — Christina Cummings scored twice to lead Queensbury to a Foothills Council North Division victory over South Glens Falls.

Brigid Duffy had a goal and two assists for the Spartans, while Izzy Dennison also scored.

Sophia Keshmiri and Cassidy Ray each had one assist for Queensbury.

Kaleigh Hunt made two saves to post the shutout in goal for Spartans.

Molly Rafferty and Deme Kellogg combined to make 10 saves for South Glens Falls.

Schuylerville 7, Hudson Falls 1

HUDSON FALLS — Cassandra Cooper finished with three goals and two assists to lead Schuylerville to a Foothills Council North Division victory over Hudson Falls

Brooke Keefer had two goals and an assist for the Black Horses, while Kalli Hewitt and Macey Koval also scored. Madison Eugair, Gabby Everleth and Sarah McMahon all had one assist for Schuylerville.

Claire Pelletier-Hoblock and Rachel Stortz combined to make five saves for the Black Horses.

Center State Conference

Dolgeville 7, Herkimer 0

DOLGEVILLE — Rylee Lamphere finished with two goals and an assist to lead Dolgeville to a victory over Herkimer.

Alexis Smith had two goals for the Blue Devils and Madisen Gorinshek had a goal and assist.

Emma Bilinski and Nataley Caponera also scored for Dolgeville, while Gabby Kenyon added an assist.

Ryanne Williams didn’t need to make a save to post the shutout in goal for the Blue Devils, who outshot 28-0.

Kurstin Gay made 18 saves for Herkimer.
